Terms and Conditions



1. ORDER TERMS

  • All prices are F.O.B. shipping point. Terms are on sales order acknowledgments as well invoices. For international orders, please contact us directly.


2. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS, PRICES AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • We reserve the right to change product specifications, prices and terms and conditions without prior notice. Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You Customer Care Department can provide pricing to authorized Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You customers only. Prices are based on units as listed on the purchase order and/or invoice, with domestic packaging.


3. MERCHANDISE INSPECTION

  • The customer upon delivery is required to carefully inspect all merchandise. Any visible damage or carton shortage should be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt. Claims for content shortage must be made to the Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You Customer Care Department within five (5) days of delivery or any such claim is waived. Concealed damage requires immediate inspection by the carrier or any damage claim is waived. The customer is responsible for the filing of all freight and concealed damage claims with the carrier.


4. LIMITED WARRANTY

  • Manufacturer warranty is applicable to equipment purchased.


5. SHIPMENTS

  • When placing an order, we will select the method of shipment for the customer. Any special shipping and packaging requests are the customer's responsibility. Proofs of delivery are subject to a $25.00 charge. Any product that is treated as hazardous material for shipping purposes is subject to $37.00 surcharge.


6. FREIGHT POLICY

  • Free freight is available on all qualifying orders for ground shipment within the contiguous United States (Hawaii and Alaska excluded) for merchandise shipped from Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You distribution locations. Back orders or split shipments on qualified orders, unless made at the customer's request, will be shipped free freight.


  • Orders placed online via one of our websites will receive actual freight
  • Orders requesting UPS third party billing will be charged a $10.00 handing fee.
  • Exceptions to freight policy (Actual freight charges will apply):
  • Free freight is not available for the following product categories: Hazardous Materials (Hazardous Material charge also applies), Clinical Care Recliners, Case Goods, Mattresses, Institutional Beds, Select Bariatric products, Closeouts, Monthly Promotional items, Power Mobility, Premier Classic wheelchairs, and special order items not stocked in a Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You warehouse or Distribution Center.
  • Residential shipments do not qualify for free freight and are subject to a handling charge or the actual carrier's residential delivery charges.
  • Inside delivery, Lift Gate, Redelivers and special delivery circumstances are subject to additional charges.
  • Charges associated with redirecting shipments after an order has left the warehouse will be subject to additional charges.

7. RETURNED MERCHANDISE POLICY

An RMA number must accompany all returned merchandise. The Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You Customer Care Team Leader must authorize a return, issue a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide a return shipping address in advance of any return. We ask that the customer not write the RMA number on product packaging.

Return authorizations are valid only for 30 days from the date of issue. All returns must be sent to the location specified by the Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You Customer Care Team Member. Returned merchandise must be shipped prepaid freight (all collect shipments will be refused).

1. Eligibility: Merchandise, other than that covered by warranty, must meet the following criteria in order to be accepted for return:

  • Request for returns due to customer error will only be accepted for 10 days after shipment date.
  • Merchandise must be unused and in the original packaging as well as in new and resalable condition.
  • Merchandise must be properly packaged, un-opened, in the same quantity as sold, and returned, in the original shipping carton to avoid freight damage. Credit will not be given for items damaged due to improper packaging or freight damage.

  • All returns are subject to inspection. We reserve the right to determine in our sole discretion whether an item qualifies for credit or for return as warranty, quality or defective goods (other than for freight damage) and whether to repair, replace or partially replace any such item.

  • Serialized items are not eligible for return if the serial number identifier of the item returned is different, missing, damaged, tampered with or otherwise altered or modified.

  • Refused Orders: Orders that are refused will be charged a 25% restock fee and all associated freight charges such as freight to the customer and back to a warehouse. This does not apply to orders refused due to freight damage.

2. Return charges: All returns, other than warranty and damaged items, are subject to a handling/restocking fee of 25% of the sale price of the item.

3. Non-returnable merchandise: The following items may not be returned, other than those that are covered by warranty:

  • Private label items
  • Special orders (any item not stocked by Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You)
  • Custom or discontinued items
  • Any product with expiration dates
  • Any product that for hygienic reasons cannot be brought back into stock.


8. DISPUTES AND COLLECTIONS

  • All disputes concerning an order and any claims relating to the merchandise sold to the customer and all claims for payment, are to be determined by a court presiding in the county in which Wheelchairs Plus Mobility Solutions/Medical For You maintains its principle place of business and customer consents to jurisdiction and venue in such court.
  • Customer shall be responsible and liable for all costs of collection, including attorneys' fees.
